captains log, tour date 9.28.09, Akron Ohio. gray skies, continuous rain since the Adirondack.We survived New York state, a place that lives up to the hype: it sucks as bad as people say. Two exceptions to this hype: New York the City and the Adirondack of upstate New York.
Vermont is the most beautiful place I've ever visited. The leaves began to change during our stay in Burlington. There are no billboards cluttering the roadsides of Vermont, they are outlawed.
Maine, shows of magic occurred here: Guthries (Lewiston), and The Hogfarm Annex (Biddeford). Maine is big and wild, and I will reside on the shoreline there one day.
